(DARTMOUTH, NS – June 21st, 2022) – Due to rising costs in travel and a busy schedule upcoming on the Passione Flooring East Coast Mini Stock Tour, management has made the difficult decision to cancel the Pub’s Drive Thru Bottle Exchange 50 at Speedway 660. The race was scheduled to take place this Saturday, June 25th. With less than a half dozen Tour regulars confirmed to compete, many citing the rising fuel costs as their primary concern, the drivers along with Tour officials agreed that proceeding with the event would not be in the best interest for all involved.
The Passione Flooring East Coast Mini Stock Tour would like to apologize for any inconvenience this causes and looks forward to visiting Speedway 660 on Saturday, September 3rd for the Pub’s Drive Thru Bottle Exchange 50. The remainder of the racing card scheduled for this Saturday evening at Speedway 660, which includes the Atlantic Modified Tour’s Northside Auto Parts 35, Shur-Fit Auto Parts, Bumper to Bumper Street Stocks and Late Model Sportsman, is still a go with a 6:30pm start. The next scheduled event for the Passione Flooring East Coast Mini Stock Tour is scheduled for Saturday, July 2nd at Oyster Bed Speedway in Oyster Bed Bridge, Prince Edward Island. Matt Watson (Miscouche, PE) is the point leader on the Tour as they head to his home track next weekend.
